Other, The very best oil for babies and children’s ailments, very low toxicity. I used it on my children for teething, nappy rash, temper tantrums conjunctivitis, dry skin, pain relief and much, much, more. It combines powerful anti-inflammatory & analgesic properties making it a great choice for aches and pains. Chamomile is very healing to skin that has been over-exposure to the sunlight or where the skin’s natural defences have been reduced by constant exposure to irritants such as detergents, bleaches or just from too much house work. Matricaria in German means ‘mother herb’ and is indicated for female disorders. Chamomile appears to have an effect on histamine production, which is implicated in allergies. I have used chamomile for myself and many customers, who suffer with hay fever or other allergies. I am highly allergic to dust, just opening clothing stored for a few months can trigger a sneezing fit that can last for the rest of the day. When I think before I act, I either wear a face mask with 2 drops of German chamomile applied, or I place 2- 3 drops on a tissue and inhale from this prior and during my exposure to dust. I definitely notice a positive effect.
